When the threat of a nuclear catastrophe becomes all too real and time is rapidly running out, the Israeli government announces its final national rescue plan: a mass, collective observance of the Sabbath that will bring about the coming of the Messiah and with him, the End of Days.

The state of emergency, the gravity of the moment, and the widespread panic have their effect. Everyone steps up.

Everyone except Yoel.

Amid a midlife crisis, forty-year-old Yoel decides for the first time in his life to go against the herd. What begins as a personal act of defiance quickly turns into a wild journey into the very heart of Israeli identity, which climax places the fate of all humanity upon his fragile shoulders.

A musical satire about existential fears, national obsessions, pickles, and the resurrection of the dead.

Premiere: July 30, 2026.
